You guys brought up some very good points. Only section I think you really didn’t highlight is cardio. While cardio may not be that important to you, health wise there are so many beneficial advantages to it. Not every guy wants to have arms twice as big as there legs as an ideal body. Not saying thats you but I see a lot of deuchebags at the gym who just work on arms. Interval workouts burns tons of calories and keeps you lean. Div 1 track athlete speaking here.

I know most of you will probably ignore this, but everyone has a dream, and everyone wishes to acquire their dream, my dream is to be recognized as a teen bodybuilder and I know its alot to ask for but Ive never been a top comment, and I wish people would see my profile and recognize me and my work at bodybuilding. im only 15, people have been working longer and harder than i have, so i dont expect much attention. but i know there are nice people out there, thanks for your time(:

Calling track “cardio” is like calling the Navy Seals training practice for Call of Duty… Insulting. You did a sport and trained like an athlete. I’d expect that to have a lasting effect on your lean body mass. Going for a sweaty jog four days a week will do f*** all.
@javelinthrower1 – Track is a little more extreme than what these guys are refering to as “cardio”. This is one of the areas where the cardio argument is always skimmed over and under-explained:
I’d say that they are refering to low impact cardio (the kind that 90% of gym goers do) like running at a steady pace for twenty minutes until the machine says “500 calories” or whatever. That wont do much as all for your metabolism. It will burn calories, sure, but it wont build much muscle. TBC

wait a sec, i use to run track and my metabolism is still up high…three years later!! Cardio helps alot more than you think!! this is coming from a biology major on his way to med school!

Who in the hell has time in their life to eat 5-6 meals a day in short spaces of time.
Almonds, pecans, walnuts, and olive oil are high in omega 6 so I don’t think I would call them “good fats”. What about fatty fish grass fed meat and dairy fat which are high in omega 3? You guys are right on about fat not causing you to get fat, cardio not being great for fat loss and supplements being pretty much worthless.

at the moment what i just do is like a short 5 minute workout twice a day.
doesnt your body burn calories up to two hours after doing cardio maybe even further, and what about all cardio HIIT
