How to get six pack abs without using machines?
Question by Beast Athlete: How to get six pack abs without using machines?
I workout my abs almost everyday, but i still don’t see any development. I do crunches, leg lifts, flutter kicks, and planks. I don’t see any cuts or any sign of improvement. I know I’m doing the exercises correctly because I can feel the burn everytime I do them. Anybody know some different workouts for abs without machines?

Machines will not get you six pack abs.
Crunches/situps/legraises/etc will not get you six pack abs.
Dieting and exercise will get you six pack abs.

Read that, pay attention to spot reduction.
To lose fat:
1. DON’T BELIEVE THOSE FAD DIETS! DIET PILLS ARE GIMMICKS! Yes, Acai berries/pills/juice is a fad diet.
2. DO NOT STARVE YOURSELF! Unless you are tiny as it is, a 1,200 calorie a day diet is DANGEROUS and won’t work in the long run.
3. Find the ammount of calories you need to eat per day to maintain your weight. Try this link: http://www.exrx.net/Calculators/CalRequire.html
4. Eat healthy and eat about 500 calories below that number. Eating too little will result in loss of water weight and muscle mass, not fat (what you actually want to lose).
5. Eat 5-6 small meals a day. This keeps your metabolism up. Each meal should include fruits, veggies, water, and protein. Oatmeal is great for breakfast.
5. Drink at least 64oz (8 8oz glasses) of water a day. No soda (that includes diet soda). A great FAQ for proper diet (and general fitness): http://www.liamrosen.com/fitness.html
6. Do light/moderate cardio 3 to 5 times a week for 30 to 45 minutes each time. Running, bicycling, and swimming are great for this. If you are obese, do low impact stuff like walking or swimming.
7. Do some strength training to make sure you lose fat and not muscle. Don’t worry; you won’t look like the hulk if you lift weights.
8. You should lose about 1-2lbs (.45-.9kg) per week. If you lose more than that, chances are the rest is stool, water weight, or even muscle mass.
Be patient and be smart. If you follow this guideline you will be very happy with your results. Good luck!

abs are just like every muscle in the body and with out a sufficient amount of protein and a healthy diet you wont be able to.
if you eat correctly you will gain bigger and more defined abs using those ab workouts.
bicycle crunches, as you lift your shoulders you lift one leg and toucg ut with your opposing elbow. eg have your right elbow touch the inside of your left calf
If you’re feeling a burn that’s very good because that means that something is happening. Don’t expect results over night because that won’t happen. Take some time doing your excesses you are doing right now because it seems like you’re on the right track to getting the body you want. Just eat healthy and you are all set.
a month with muay thai clinch training with chute boxe
The best thing to do is pilates, it sounds too feminine, but its not. You will have an amazing core very quickly if you master the technique of Winsor Pilates…I also suggest stopping crunches and doing a more effective ab workout. Lay on the floor and put your hands above your head, hold on to something like the legs of the couch, and kick your feet up over your body. Bring them down and hold them at a 45 degree angle, do not let them touch the floor. Kick them up over your body again, do it at least 75-100 a day. It hurts like hell, but you will see amazing results very quickly. Also remember to speed walk regularly tightening your abs the entire time. It works wonders.
